john, this is not officially a disaster of debate prep for mitt romney. you know, as you know, debate handlers have come up with zingers before to candidates, but they do not leak to the media ahead of time that they have a big bag of zingers ready to go. they actually try to let the candidate take some credit for being clever and quick on his feet. this is now a hopeless situation for romney. >> i've become increasingly convinced when they're talking about zingers they're talking about the hostess snack cakes. there's been so much telegraphing of punches of the romney campaign not only with the zinger comments but also last week when they started telegraphing the notion they were going to take on the president on his vars veracity, they were going to challenge his onsti. they're tal graphed so gratuitously, it makes me think that some of these things must be decoys and that mitt romney is not going to try to throw zingers on him or he's going to do what he does need to do which is to look presidential. there's still a huge number of people in the country

you look through this debate, ann romney looked like he enjoyed it and was having fun. obama just looked sort of sour and it was like another headache that he had to be there. romney support is needed to be reinvigorated. the question is, what did happen with the undecideds. is that enthusiasm going to spread out in terms of who is going to vote. >> was their body language that you noticed? >> i thought both of them behaved with considerable dignity and courtesy to each other, which people like. as meaghan pointed out, the president was continually looking down and sometimes had an expression on his face that seemed like a smirk. that never helps you. i thought governor romney's body language was pretty good, and the expression on his face this kind of a half smile, not a smirk, as he was looking at the president while he spoke. it was probably better than having him looking down. those observations on body language. >> both of the campaign spending a lot of time in ohio. this is ohio on the democrats' line. >> i watched the debate. i thought the president was very pres

romney did well in the debate. i will admit that, i give him a b-plus on style, but i give him a d-minus on substance and truthfulness. >> you know, why -- >> he did not tell the truth. >> president obama didn't challenge him on the stage, which i think probably is what a lot of democrats think the problem was. let me ask you about ohio's job. as you know, both of you know, ohio's unemployment rate is lower than the national average. it was 5.4%, governor, when you took office. it hit its high point in 2010. ten points now it's down. by 7.2%. now, i want to just play you what governor kasik, a republican, said at the rnc. >> we've made real progress in ohio in restoring confidence because that's what so much of life is about. we are setting people free in order to build success, but we need a new partner in washington. this relationship is just not working. it is holding us back. >> so governor, first to you. who is responsible for the good economy, or relatively good economy in ohio? >> thank you for playing that
